Smooth

Band-Sawn

Vertical saw marks running along the length of the board.

• Linear, consistent texture
• Adds subtle depth without being overly rough

Brushed

Soft springwood is removed, leaving the harder summerwood grain more exposed.

• Natural, tactile texture
• Enhances the grain pattern
• Popular for both interior and exterior applications

Combed

Linear grooves running lengthwise down the board.

• Strong directional texture
• Creates shadow lines and visual rhythm
• Often used for feature walls or architectural accents
